DriversMap is built on something simple: real drives, real routes, real people. These Community Guidelines keep it that way. They're part of our Terms of Service, and they apply everywhere in DriversMap — the feed, crews, convoys, chat, hazard reports, and your profile. Break them and we may remove content, limit features, or suspend your account.
Drive safe, drive legal
- Your first job is driving. Don't interact with DriversMap in a way that's unsafe or illegal while you're behind the wheel. Set up before you go; keep your eyes on the road.
- Obey traffic laws and road signs — always. Nothing in the app overrides them.
- Don't use DriversMap to promote or coordinate street racing, reckless driving, or anything that puts people at risk.
- Hazard reports are for safety, not for helping anyone break the law or evade accountability.
Be real
- Be yourself. Don't impersonate other people, crews, or brands.
- Don't fake it — no spoofed GPS, staged routes, or manipulating territory, standings, convoys, or the feed. Earned kilometres are the whole point.
- Post drives and content that are genuinely yours.
Respect other people
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
- No hate speech or attacks on people based on who they are — race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar.
- Keep disagreements civil. Passion for cars and driving is welcome; cruelty isn't.
Protect privacy
- Don't share other people's private information — home addresses, license plates, phone numbers, or their real-time location without consent.
- Remember that convoys and crews share live location among members. Only invite and join people you trust, and don't expose others' movements outside the group.
Keep it clean
- No illegal content, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence.
- No spam, scams, or unsolicited advertising.
- No malware, phishing, or attempts to break or abuse the Service.
Report hazards in good faith
Hazard reports — police, cameras, crashes, obstacles, road conditions — help everyone drive smarter. Report what you genuinely see, keep it accurate, and clear reports that no longer apply. Don't file false or malicious reports, and don't weaponize them against other drivers.
How we enforce these guidelines
When something crosses the line, we may remove the content, hide it from others, warn you, limit your access to features, or suspend or terminate your account — scaled to how serious or repeated the issue is. Serious cases, like threats to safety or illegal activity, can lead to immediate removal and may be reported to the authorities.
Reporting and appeals
See something that breaks these guidelines? Report it in the app where available, or email support@driversmap.app. If you think we got an enforcement decision wrong, reply to our notice or email us — we'll take another look.
Changes
We'll update these guidelines as the community grows. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Thanks for helping keep DriversMap real.
